Message to Moderator.

Dear Moderator,

My chosen brief was to create a new music magazine including front cover, contents and double page spread.

my magazine was called Louder and the genre of my magazine is pop. I worked alone to plan, construct and evaluate my 

coursework for AS Media Studies.

I used many different software’s to create my magazine such as Photoshop and InDesign. I edited all my images in 

Photoshop and then placed them into InDesign to create my contents page and my double page spread, however I fully 

produced my front cover on Photoshop. I enjoyed many things about this project but what I enjoyed most was the construction

of my pages and bringing everything together and making my creative image a reality. I struggled at first to get use to 

the different softwares however I think this because I had never had a complete experience or time to get use to 

the new software until now, but have very much enjoyed learning how to use new softwares to create my own magazine.

Final Version Of Double Page Spread

This is the final version of my double page spread, again continuing the pink/purple theme throughout. As you can see my magazine is primarily for the female audience throughout due to the stereotypical girly colours, throughout i gave upheld the barrier between formal and informal language demonstrating how this magazine is for high end teens.

This is my final version of my contents page again this s following the conventions for my pink/purple theme. Within my contents page there is a lot more images mainly close ups as it gives the reader even more of an insight in whats in side so they can se their favourite celebrities and entice them o read more. I included my own personal message at the bottom of the contents page to make it more direct to the audience and make them feel more welcome and show that this magazine is for them.

This is the final version of my front cover, i have swayed away from my original ideas and decided to go with more of a fresh edgy look with a mesh background and a medium long shot cover photo, however i have stuck to my original convention colours of the light pink/purple as my magazines primary audience is females.

This is the final version of my double page spread, as you can see my theme has been continuously pink throughout sticking to the conventions of this issue.

this is the final version of my contents page, as you can see i have tried to relate to my audience by adding my own personal message and photo to make them feel welcome and that this magazine is theirs, the continuous theme is still running throughout the magazine, i have a few different artists featuring in my images on this page which i developed throughout the making of the contents page.

This is the final version of my Front cover i have played around and used trail and error to fit images and different font styles to fit my convention. The primary audience for my magazine is defiantly females between the age of 17-25, this is a high end pop magazine.
